Research Blog online
November 29th 2007
Although Imagesforthefuture.org provides you with general project information and reports about our progess, there’s a lot more happening around us. Digitizing and disclosing heritage is being done all over the world. We like to keep up to date, which is why we’ve created a separate website: the Images for the Future Research Blog. In English, because interesting developments just don’t happen in our backyard alone.
Another advantage: people can respond directly to papers, columns, and articles. More comments means more discussion. The blog will be subjective, provide feedback, and touch upon controversy, but always in a researching and inspiring way.
In addition to the blog, we’ve created a separate page with social bookmark service del.icio.us. Here you’ll find continually updated links to articles that are interesting to our project. The database grows daily, and you can subscribe to an rss-feed to be kept up to date via your rss-reader. The latest links can of course also be found on the Research Blog.
In short, if you want to read more about copyrights, business models, product development, technology, and user research with respect to the digitization and disclosure of audiovisual heritage? Check the Images for the Future Research Blog.
